GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CLIENTS. LFP'S RESPONSE TO COVID-19.

March 31, 2020 - COVID-19 update and inspiration

From the entire Leffew Fastpitch team, we'd like to say WE MISS YOU and can't wait to get back to work! Currently we hope to resume operations May 1st, but will follow the guidelines set forth by the government and reopen when it is considered safe to do so. We will keep you updated!

It truly amazes us how resilient kids are! Most kids are better at adjusting to difficult situations than we are as adults. It's tough for them, and there is so much they may feel they are missing out on right now, but believe me, in the years, to come most will look back on this time and remember the good. The family dinners and walks, and puzzles, and board games, and Zooming with their friends. They'll remember that they got to sleep in and do their school work at home. They'll remember watching so many movies and playing in the yard when the weather was nice. These memories will overshadow the rest, and the best thing we can do for them is SMILE and be silly as well as giving them structure and schedules.

Some of you are still working and risking exposure everyday because your job is essential...Thank you! Some of you are working from home and staying home and keeping your kids home...Thank you! Some of you are healthcare workers doing amazing things or are truck drivers, first responders, and so many others providing essentials for the rest of us, you are always important but more needed and appreciated now than ever...THANK YOU! There are going to be days that are hard...really hard...and I want you to know that doing the best you can IS GOOD ENOUGH!

Lastly, here are some wise words Dave and Suzanne Leffew taught their kids that may prove helpful have been helpful:

"You have two choices, you can let this make you miserable or you can choose to make the best of it and be happy."

There's always something to be grateful for and always a choice, to let something make you bitter or make you better!

Stay happy and stay healthy, and we can't wait to see you soon!
“It’s easy to cheat yourself and do just enough to get by, but that’s what everybody can do, just enough to get by. But those who want to be successful and maintain that level of success have got to push a little bit harder and do a little bit more.”
